Context
Betmexico is an online casino that offers live and online sports betting. Their online casino offers an extensive collection of slot machines and card games while their sportsbook ranges from e-sports to live soccer matches. Betmexico is a venture of Htech, Mexico's top payment gateway provider.
My contribution
I led the design of "Betmexico" after its rebrand from "Bet4". My activities included researching, information architecture, defining a design system, identifying drop-offs, design and handoff.
Some of the designs created during my involvement with the project have been successfully implemented and shipped to over 30,000 users.
Problem
Due to it's rebranding Betmexico consisted of a collage of a website template, older design attempts and convoluted workflows. Despite their novel payment security and anti-fraud policies Betmexico's conversions were not turning up as expected, users were weary of signing up to a hacky website.
Process
I begin by brainstorming and conceptualizing ideas for the abstract renders. I draw inspiration from various sources, such as nature, technology, dreams, or personal experiences. My aim is to create a unique and visually captivating concept that pushes the boundaries of traditional representation.
Once the concept is defined, I create rough sketches or digital sketches to visualize the composition. This helps me refine the overall structure, determine the placement of key elements, and establish a sense of balance and harmony within the artwork.
Using specialized 3D modeling software, I start constructing the virtual objects that will form the core of the composition. I create and manipulate geometric shapes, organic forms, or abstract structures. I carefully consider the overall design, proportions, and relationships between different elements to achieve the desired visual impact.
Outcomes
The Next Level case study highlights my innovative approach to abstract 3D renders, showcasing my ability to push the boundaries of imagination and evoke profound emotional responses.
By combining advanced 3D modeling techniques, experimental compositions, and a thoughtfully curated color palette, I create an immersive visual journey that transports viewers to new realms of creativity and introspection.
