Debra Nazaret (B. January 1997)
My design journey started as a teenager making posters in photoshop or maybe as a child in oil painting classes, at 25 I got a Bachelors in Industrial Design at ITESM. I shifted my focus from physical to digital products when I discovered my passion for interacting with other people and learning about them, crafting thoughtful experiences that hopefully make an impact in their lives.
I've designed brands, websites, apps, research methodologies and even a casino at studios and startups. I'm currently breaking down and revamping complex user flows at Deloitte. I occasionally freelance for my friends and their friends or just any other fun projects, specially those that seek to create community or champion education.
On my free time I'm learning how to code, reading about computation, attempting to create poetic websites and all around dreaming of a softer gentler internet.
An unordered list of things I love: films, essays + non-fiction, creating playlists for my friends, facing the sun in cold weather, hunting vintage clothing, archiving, learning about skincare, sweet treats, moving my body, cracking my back, lipgloss, teaching, staring at the eyes of someone I love, daydreaming about a sweeter future
